What Is Windows Device Manager
In Windows 95/98/2000, the Device Manager Property Sheet shows the status of all the peripheral devices connected to your computer. To display it, do the following
Windows 95/98
1. Start menu/Settings/Control Panel/System
2. Click Device Manager tab.
Windows 2000
1. Start menu/Settings/Control Panel/System
2. Click Hardware tab.
3. Click Device Manager
Device Manager Device Manager displays all the components of the computer system. Right clicking a device in the list and clicking Properties displays the details.
In Windows 95/98, the properties for Computer show system settings such as internal interrupts and port addresses would be displayed.
